i was browsing through my old CD collection somewhere on the shelve and CD container when i suddenly encountered two hacking-related CD. I thought I already lost it like years ago, but yeah..they still exist in this world, alive. I tried to recall the memory. What I can remember is, the CDs is given by someone who is older than me..but who?where? damn, i can’t remember. I got them for free. Thats all I knew.

And the most useful thing in the CD is the password revealer. What the heck is that? Well, as the title goes, it reveals your password, behind the asterisks. U know, when u are typing something in the password field, it doesn’t show the real characters, just asterisks. damn, for those who have no idea, asterisk is that star thing : *

So, this small application is kinda useful, and you can easily find it on the internet. Lots of them. I don’t want to share the links here. Go find it yourself.

But, I figured out something. I figured out that this password revealer can’t be used in Mozilla Firefox! Yeah! again, credit to firefox for their high security level, leaving IE in the useless zone. Let me show some pictures of evidence.

Above picture is the Internet Explorerscreenshot, when I pointed the cursor in the password field. As you can see, the application reveals the hidden text as “password” ..and its correct.

This one is the Mozilla Firefox screenshot, showing that the application can’t detect anything in the password field, making it more secure than IE.

For consistency and precision, I used several different password revealer applications on both browsers…but the result is still the same. Firefox is tougher. So, get firefox.

I want to put this application in my thumbdriv. Then I’ll go to all the computers around UTP and get their password. Get into their Friendster account, and delete all those stupid annoying glitters and sliding stuff on the fuckin profiles. Damn I hate it so much.
