utp-oss meetup

The poster I created for the meetup.

So I went to the UTP-OSS meetup today. Basically it was just a normal meetup with a small number of people. Basic talk by some experts.

I was really surprised that only a few appeared for the meetup. Maybe they were too afraid when talking about Open Source..or maybe they dont even know about this meetup..or the UTP-OSS itself. Hmm. Lets spread the words people. Anyone can join the UTP-OSS Google Group.

The main agenda is basically about what is Linux Distribution itself. This is a common topic. I knew some stuff but there were also some new infos. The second one is about VoIP in Open Source.

To be honest, I am not into this VoIP thing. While everybody in UTP is using Skype to contact their peer from room to room or even outside UTP, I never have the feeling to install Skype in my laptop. I do have Skype account. But I never use it and I will not. Maybe for the next few years. Why? I dont know. Ask TMnut with their damn slow internet connection. Why bother talking from PC to PC if you need to be extra patient due to lagging time and horrible result.

There will be one meetup per month, according to the founder of the society, Izhar. I am looking forward for the workshop. That is what I really need.

I need to install Fedora into this new laptop. Can anyone give me the .iso files? I left mine at home.
