So, anyone out there haven’t heard about Advertlets? Anyone? If your are a Malaysia, you should’ve known about this Advertlets, another advertising company from Malaysia, actively competiting with the Asia’s first blog advertising community, Nuffnang. Well, currently whos the winner? You decide.
For a brief introduction, I have been lazy hardworking enough to copy and paste the statement from their website:
Advertlets.com is an Asian blog/weblog advertising network that offers the remarkably sensible proposition of targeted, unintrusive advertising that benefits the online advertising and blogger community, as well as their readers.
Bloggers get better advertising that is relevant to their readers, and advertisers make their advertising dollars and their message count.
See, I told you I can make money out of this!
When I first look at Advertlets, I was like, OMG, this site is sooo cool. With the web2.0 style, everyone will be easily attracted excited enough to join the community. Come on, its a new thing in Malaysia – for all of Malaysian bloggers to start making revenue from their website/blogs.
All these while, we depends on Google Adsense, Text Ad Links and some other alien advertising networks from outer space. But those services provide less relevent ads and links for us in Malaysia. So, putting those kind of ads is kinda weird ( although still got money ) if we want to consider for Malaysian viewers. Thats when Advertlets comes into action! ( Imagine Superman came out of nowhere when a woman is crying for help in the middle of the night. A woman ok, not a man.)
At first I dont feel like joining Advertlets. But then I changes my mind. Know why?
Number 1 : Because I was like, Oh no, I dont have enough traffic on my blog..just around 200 hits per day, who want to advertise here? screw me! But then, when they announced their new, non-traffic sensitive ad formats, I know that its time for Advertlets! ..and everyone will get ads! Now, thats what I want 
Number 2 : Because they introduces more sizes/formats for the ads. Now we have more choices where to put the ads on, instead of sidebar. Remember this people – MANY is always better than ONE. ok la, not always. but certain time..ah whatever.
Number 3 : Because I want money. Haha obvious isn’t it?
Talking about Number 2, Advertlets currently have four new ad formats instead of the poll.
I am loving the 468×80 banner ad. I’m going to provide some spaces for these in my upcoming theme. And oh, I may want to consider taking out the Nuffnang ad because it slowwws down page load. urgh
So, no i’ve registered with Advertlets and I have put the ‘bling’ in ‘blogging’ ! How about you? wait no more. Register your Advertlets account todayyy!

google really have super strict rules..
Advertlets do hv PPC option but i am not very sure how it works. that can mean you cant click on your ads too, like Google

i believe thru the agreement, we cant click on the ads.
BUT, say we do click it, can the company detects it? I dont think so, since they are relatively new and most probably still doesnt have the sufficient resources compared to google.

Dari apa yg aku tahu, memang mereka takda teknologi cam google lagi, tapi mereka tau berapa visitor kita, kan? ^__^
Contohnya, cuba bayangkan kalau 100 klik untuk sehari datang dari blog yg visitor sehari cuma 20-30, jadi mesti ada yg tak kena kan?
Aku bersetuju dengan Artgeex, adverlets dan termasuk nuffnang(aku terpaksa buang jap sbb load lambat) masih terlampau baru lagi..sedangkan Google pun amik masa nak develop adsense.. =P

on the loading time issue, i noticed that too.. especially the one from nuffnang. maybe cz of too many requests which slowed down their server a lil bit.

@flisterz, with all do respect, have you tried clearing up your browsers cache and see the loading speed? The code from nuffnang is taking too much time to load.
Grab Firebug plugin, look under the Net tab, and compare the loading time and package. Nuffnang is quite slow, while there is a 404 transparent.gif from advertlets.
