You sure have watched those Get a Mac; Mac vs PC video ads all around the internet. Some are cool and I think Apple are creative/brave enough to come out with those stuff. But then, theres too much of them, so it started to get annoying as well. Well, whos better? You decide. For me, I want an Apple Macbook and use their eye candy Mac OS. But I dont think I can live without Microsoft’s and PC’s software. Apple has Boot Camp in their next Leopard OS so user can install Windows as the second OS. That’s a good thing. Although Parallel Desktop is better, but it is not cheap. hehe
I just want to share this stuff I made for fun.

For the same amount of money, we can get a much better PC than mac. Imagine spending 6k for a PC, what can we get? Im overly satisfied with my 4k pc now.. wahaha.. bought last year, skrg roughly 3.5k kot.
27 Jun 07 | 9:41 pmno no.. you CAN’T spend the same amount of money to get a better PC than a Mac. I’m not using a Mac, but a cousin of mine has been using it for the past 4 years so I’m gonna talk based on my experience/findings + reviews from other ppl.
Macs they can do what geeks want them to do with little system conflicts in the way and they are unbelievably sleek in terms of interface/hardware design. but for regular users who are still confused of the difference between Mac and Apple, of course lah a PC is well enough if you want to keep the budget curve.
But still, you CAN’T really build a better PC than Mac for the same cost. You *can* get a working high-end PC that’s cheaper than a regular Mac but you would have to take good care of it in the long run as it may last about 2-3 years without crashing. For Mac, maintenance is not much of a concern cuz it’s almost invincible against viruses/spywares. And to do some high-end multimedia humping, PC’s are hard on the arses. Macs are like lubes that ease the operation. hehe
But I ain’t saying you gotta have a Mac to call yourself cool. Cool people get out in the sun!

basically I agree with fuqaha, we can get better PC with that much money. better in term of performance la. hardware wise.
but you cant get the Mac experience am i rite? like redblaque said, sleek design and the no-virus stuff. *omg I am such an apple fan boy. but hey, you cant do everything with a Mac alone. at least, i cannot

29 Jun 07 | 7:48 amAku pernah guna Macbook courtesy of Kerajaan Malaysia. Secara humblenya aku rasa takde la best sangat pun. Biasa je. Tapi if you want to be cool plus tak perlu risau pasal virus ke apa ke, then boleh la kot pakai. Kalau tak, dan korang used to be PC user, pakai je PC heheh
