Bob blogged about his custom login page he created using a wordpress plugin called BM Custom Login Plugin. This whole custom login page thing is not something new. I have read about this a lot before, here and there, but I dont bother to try it out. But maybe because now theres a specific plugin for that purpose, I decided to try. 
Unfortunately, the plugin only allow me to change the image of the login box on the login page. Not more than that. But I want to do more than that. So I decided to edit the default wp-admin.css file in the wordpress core file. I dont know if this is a wise step or not, but I guess I did not alter any serious stuff. Just add some new properties and thats all
So now I have my own custom made login page that suits my theme.
Then I realised that I can also made a custom theme for my wordpress dashboard only by editing the wp-admin.css file. cool! But maybe not now. I better create another wordpress theme by then. haha My traffic increased 10 times when my FTW wordpress theme is listed in Weblogtoolscollection.com.

Many tutorials out there related to this thing. BM Custom Login Plugin is the best for beginner and advanced users. Yes! why? don’t require changing core files and no worries when upgrading our wordpress.
I think CSS2 and CSS3 can be handle at all.

29 Aug 07 | 12:32 amI downloaded your FTW theme, I was actually surprised at the quality. Though I did have to edit the single.php file to make the pagination within the article show up. Just remember that if you start making crappy themes, you’ll be just another site with a bunch of pathetic wordpress themes that I open and close quickly. But until then, sick theme. A+

29 Aug 07 | 7:42 ami’ve been using custom admin page for about a year now, tiger admin. it does not modify the css, just add the new one. if you can do the css, creating the plugin very easy, just one wp hook to be called.
how do you get your theme listed in weblogtoolscollection dude?

1) Usually, you don’t use it. If cookies is turned on, you probably won’t see it at all..
2) Nobody cares about it..
but do it if it satisfy your desire. Personal feelings are more important than what other poeple say.
Customizing the admin pages would proove helpful.

sebab aku run blog batch guna wordpress, so it helps a lot la kalau ada customize login page.. baru kene dengan the whole look and theme..

and shambie, thanks for the tip. That is exactly why i wrote “i believe” or “my opinion”, which you could agree or disagree anyway you want.
Just get that unhomey feeling from the tuan rumah. If you don’t like a comments, just say you disagree and give out points of why. Don’t shut people down by saying you should have not say this, you should not have said that.
