I just re-format my computer without any back up for fonts; and I am so glad I found this website, Fawnt.com, as a font resource for designers. As cool as the name sounds (..or spelled), this website links you to some of the cool and professional looking font types that can be integrated into your website and application design purposes.
The fonts come from various font site - from Dafont.com to Devianart. All the fonts are property of their owners since Fawnt just put them together in one place for easy access. Also, they dont provide any categories. Everything is mixed up. I like the idea because you can just browse through and choose what you like. No need to know what is Pixel, what is Serif, Sans?Script? etc etc.
They only have 55 fonts to date; and well of course it will keep increasing. You can also suggest any font to be listed.
And I like their layout as well

[update] Smashing Magazine also has just listed 40+ excellent freefonts for professional design. Coincidence, huh?
