Here comes another competitor for Advertlets and Nuffnang - Grabmyads!

(yeah I know - I almost pronounced it wrongly, too)
Grabmyads is another Malaysia-based online advertising company - targeting on blogs advertisement. But, compared to the other two companies, Grabmyads seems to have a very different technique in their system.
Grabmyads™ blog advertising network unlike traditional advertising methods, normally, blog advertising network will caters advertisement to blog and pay according to a fixed price. Grabmyads™ will not pay a fixed price when there is an advertisement available to your blog, Grabmyads™ system will detect your ads strip position where you place our ad strip in your blog and automatically calculate the value of the ad position, and pay appropriate price according to market standard.
Based on ad position, huh? So, the higher you put the ad, the higher the value of your ad, and you’ll earn more. Okay I understand that. Hurm, but I dont want to add more stuff up there, since I already have that huge Nuffnang ad (which will not be there anymore in my next design although it really pays a lot).
Anyhow, when considering this kind of service - a service that will pay you money - it is almost crucial to look at their own credibility. Well, in this case, look at their homepage. I am not sure if it just me, but it looks like a cheap template design that you can buy from any web template resources.
I registered just now- just to try things out. Yeah I know I should’ve try for few days before actually writing a review, but I dont have much time ( ..and any other things to blog about ). *screenshots after the jump
The dashboard is quite ok, nothing fancier that our web2.0-ish Adverlets and new Ajax-ed Nuffnang. But the analytic is Flash based - like the one you found in your Wordpress.com Blog stat.

There are currently 3 formats: Skayscrapper, Leaderboard and Large Rectangle. And you can minimize those format to a smaller size in the Ads Setting panel.

One thing I like about their ad is - they dont have those “Ads by Advertlets” or “Nuffnang ads” in any corner of the ad. I hate that kind of ‘label’ bacause it makes everything looks… unbalanced. Although it can be easily removed with CSS (and is illegal), I really hope Grabmyads will never put that stuff on their ads in the future.
I am trying this thing out. You can see that in my sidebar. Although their default ad is not quite ‘good-looking’, we’ll see later what can this company give in order to compete with the other local advertising company, as well as international companies out there.
thanks to el.fReaKzTeR for the heads up.
