All time favorite yeah.

I am taking a break from working on my f:b5.0 for a while to work on this special post after reading similar ones on MohdIsmail and Infomalaya.

So how 2007 treated me? Well I would say that I have been doing a lot of great stuff this year. Stuff that I always been dreaming to do before.

My own piece of internet

I manage to learn xhtml and CSS this year, leading myself to create my own wordpress theme in early 2007. Then on the next day, the domain flisterz.com was born. I have always wanted to have my own DOT com and this is a huge success for me. Also, my site have been proudly featured on some CSS showcase website; I was so happy like a little kid Then I started to feel the need to validate my theme to adhere to the web standard, and finally I did it. From that moment, I always try to create website with valid standards especially for CSS.

And now, this blog seems to be not much of a personal blog anymore -_-”

Up to this moment, I have created several themes for my own use, and you can see them in my About page. Yet, the new one is coming soon

Free public release themes

I released my first free wordpress theme to the public; the Arrow theme. Yeah it is a crappy theme with messy codes here and there but its a great start yeah. The followed by FTW, FTW2.0 and the latest Freicurv. And I am glad I gain more experience, knowledge and skills by making those themes. And yeah, lots of backlinks to increase my Technorati and Google PageRank, too

Freelancer?

Another great thing happen this year is to work with other people as a so-called freelancer (maybe that title don’t suit me yet, I am still new in this yeah) . I got paid to do things I love. Oh I’m so in love with this - my dream since I was younger. I hope to publish my work in a portfolio soon.

And also working on some personal voluntary projects as a website designer is exciting too, especially in HappyPeople Media. Yeah we still have many things to do, and we are trying our best. Hey this is a non-profit team and everyone has their own commitment elsewhere. Btw, new design for Blogtitude has been proposed to accompany our new system soon. Just wait and see later.

Got a very cool iPod Touch

I bought an iPod Touch. yeah! This is my first time buying something expensive with my own money. Its a cool thing, I felt in love when I first saw it online. In fact, Enol help me buying this on the very first day of its release in Malaysia. Early buyers, baby!

But there was some problems later. I brought it to Machines and they replace it with a new one. Thank you Apple! But I am sorry, I just jailbreak it. haha. Screenshot here

So all of them are geeky stuff huh?

Haha who cares. I am not sharing too much personal notes here anyway. so, yeah I met cool people here and there. I make friends in myspace and actually met them in real life so thats kinda cool. Hope to see more of you guys next year!
