Actually, not quite yet. It is still a Beta version. Beta 1 for developer to be exact. But at least it is out to be tested.
IE8 developer once announced few months ago that IE8, which was still under development, had passed Acid2 test. That is a very big news. Now, since IE8 beta is out, everyone is very eager to download and test it themselves. Well, as usual, a lot of anti-Microsoft judgment fill up the reviews and comments. Some says IE8 will fail and becoming the old IE6.
What do you think? As a normal user who are comfortable enough with Firefox or Opera, you maybe don’t give a damn about this thing. But for those who are making websites, this is something. IE8 is said to have some new features and a better support towards web standard and maybe including CSS3 - a huge problem in IE6 that is haunting all website developers around the world.
Okay let say IE8 is finally perfect, with full support towards web standards, is this going to make things much easier for website developer? Well, not really. There are still a huge number of IE6 users out there - those kind of users who know nothing about other modern compliance browsers like Firefox and Opera - and those kind of users who have no idea that IE6 is a very old version of IE with no intention to update to a new version at all. In case you don’t know, IE6 users are still topping the browser statistics as of January 200. Cool huh.
I don’t have any reason to install IE8 in my machine. In fact I don’t even have IE7. I still have IE6 which is always needed to locally test out any website that I am working on. Hmm what if the IE6 users from the browser statistic is actually those web developers who are using IE to test out their works? that would be cool to know 
Congratulations to Microsoft for their effort in developing a better version of IE.

the new IE8 sounds cool. i’m going to download it some other time, though. and, if those IE6 users are really actually web developers, that’s like too good to be true. I hope so too, actually. LOL.

i couldnt disagree more with u aisyah.. the previous version one was better in term of usability (arrangements).. i think you’re trying hard to overdo it (or be impressive) for this version. i didn’t even noticed the latest post on the top of the main page.. try using several other colors to differentiate sections (or to make contrast)..
and again, nape ade horizontal scrollbars lagi ?

i’m not gonna start chattering like a monkey, but your previous version did very well in using colors to defines sections. Your new version is all white. I dont really think the designer could test for usability, but if you say so, doesnt matter to me.
