Sometimes, when we are surfing the web, we’ll encountered some URLs which are not linked. Just plain text. That is when you need to highlight that URL, copy it, and paste it into the address bar. I am actually tired of doing so. If I’m not mistaken, there is a feature in Opera that allow you ‘go to URL’ that you highlighted. No copy-pasting into the address bar. But since I’m a Firefox addict, I need to figure something out.
After several searches, I found Fetch Text URL - a firefox extension that does exactly what I wanted to. With Fetch Text URL, you just have to highlight the URL, then right click to get the option from the context menu.

The context menu is customizable from the extension preference menu
You can open it in new tab, current tab or new window. This is definitelt a time saver for me! Download it now.
I would like to see this ability to be built-in into the future version of Firefox.
