Yeap, that’s me – the guy with the huge hair. Click for bigger picture

Group photo of Professional Communication Skill last class. Classmates are fun. Lecturer is strict but a great guy. Thank you Mr Majid.

It is almost the end of the semester. How fast. But I’m glad. Study week starts next week, but there are still 1 project demonstration and another report to be completed. Then, another FYP oral presentation coming up after the final exam. I’ll be off from Tronoh probably by 11 June. Can’t wait to go back. Too much plan in my head!

Yesterday there was an email been circulating among UTP students. It is about a student who lost his hard disk, requesting the thief to only return his data for his Final Year Project. Pretty sad, I must say.

When I read that email, I felt kinda scared. Actually it happened to me. Remember when my hosting fucked up and lost all my data for the whole 4 years of flisterz era? Actually I also used the same hosting to test out the coding for my FYP project. I don’t have any backup on my local machine because I use remote editing in Coda. My hosting fucked up, so I fucked up too. I have to redo everything from scratch.

One of the prevention measure that I would suggest for everyone is to have a backup somewhere, online. The simplest method I have been using is by emailing the files to myself. I even have a label in my GMail, called ‘backup’.

However the best way I could think of right now is by using Dropbox.
