Fantasy-themed online game Forgotten Runiverse will enter global early access on March 26 at 10:00 EST.
Designed as an MMORPG, Forgotten Runiverse offers players access to a persistent world built around exploration, combat, and land management with web3 elements, including the use of digital currencies and tokenised in-game assets.
Developers have stated that this phase is intended to support ongoing development and refinement.

What to expect from the early access?
At launch, Forgotten Runiverse features six explorable regions, 22 narrative quests, and five dungeons. Players can travel on foot through a connected open world and interact with various non-playable characters. A spell-based combat system includes 32 spells across seven magical specialisations.
The game introduces a land ownership model in which players can obtain plots and construct buildings. These buildings support crafting, storage, resource gathering, and transportation. Other players can interact with structures owned by different users, contributing to a shared game environment.
In addition, the game includes a system called the Omen System, designed to provide players with increased difficulty and additional rewards. Further content, including new regions and game mechanics, is planned for future updates.

How does the in-game economy work?
Forgotten Runiverse features an in-game currency called Quanta, which is tied to player progression and resource management. Quanta can be used to craft items, upgrade structures, and participate in special events.
Players who previously earned or purchased Mana— another in-game resource—are eligible for a share of a 21T Quanta distribution. Those who log in before May 7 will be able to claim their allocation, with unclaimed amounts reallocated to other players.
Quanta can also be obtained through a feature called the Font of Memory, which allows players to exchange Mana for a chance to receive Quanta, land, and cosmetic items. The game distinguishes between purchased Mana and Mana earned through gameplay when calculating reward distributions.
A separate initiative allows holders of a specific digital asset, the Scalebound Chest, to exchange it for a plot of in-game land which is only valid if the asset has not been transferred since its original minting and must be redeemed by May 7.

What’s next for Forgotten Runiverse?
The developers have indicated that the early access phase will continue for a considerable period. During this time, player feedback will be used to refine game systems, improve balance, and expand available content.
Planned updates include additional magical specialisations, expanded land functionality, new social features such as guilds, and large-scale multiplayer content. The game will also introduce raids, open-world PvP zones, and dynamic environmental systems over time.
In the weeks following early access, a new event will be introduced involving token rewards from external blockchain projects. Whilst details have not yet been confirmed, the event will be the first of several planned integrations.
The game will remain free to play, and the developers have stated their intention to continue building the game in public, with input from the community.
