Web3 MMORPG Forgotten Runiverse have teased a big reveal, to take place via a special livestream on December 13 at 20 EST/1 UTC.
The title – which has grown this year following its migration from Arbitrum to Ronin – has remained tight-lipped on the nature of the announcement, though have stressed its importance.
The Runiverse Direct livestream will include the reveal itself, details the the next playable in-game event, and some special guests – with viewers able to win Land NFTs during the event.

What is Forgotten Runiverse?
Forgotten Runiverse is a free-to-play web3 MMORPG, built on Ronin, and available on both PC and mobile via web browser.
Based on the lore of the Forgotten Runes Wizard’s Cult NFT collection, players take the form of Wizards, with magical abilities linked to the Runiverse itself. They can explore the world, engage in PvE and PvP combat, form guilds, craft, and gather items across the game world.
These Wizards aim to revive particular Runes through stories, animations, and artwork, with each NFT holder able to craft an original story for their characters in the on-chain Book of Lore.
Beyond the Forgotten Runiverse game, the franchise includes an online comic series, an upcoming animated TV show, and a digital collectibles ecosystem.

What could the big reveal be?
2024 has been a big year for Forgotten Runiverse – and it looks like they have one final major item to share before the end of the year.
As the team are promoting this event so heavily, it must be a noteworthy addition or update to the Forgotten Runiverse game or brand. With the game having already migrated to Ronin earlier this year, it is difficult to know exactly what the alpha could be.
Nevertheless, we don’t have long to wait ’til we find out. The Runiverse Direct livestream will take place on December 13 at 20 EST/1 UTC, and is available to watch on X, Twitch and YouTube.
