Top-down extraction shooter Engines of Fury has revealed that their Cliffside playtest will open to players in January 2025.
The launch of the Cliffside playtest will give players another opportunity to work towards $FURY token and NFT rewards. On top of this, there’s a variety of new missions, features and quests to enjoy – as well as an unspecified prize pool up for grabs
The Engines of Fury Cliffside playtest will be made available on PC via the Epic Games Store.
What is Engines of Fury?
Engines of Fury is a free-to-play top-down extraction shooter NFT game, built on Immutable.
Developed by an all-star team of former Blizzard, Ubisoft and EA staff, Engines of Fury sees players team up to take on challenging environments. Through strategy, action prowess and quick-thinking, players fight their way through enemies, take on impressive bosses, collect resources or targets and escape the madness.
The January 2025 Cliffside playtest introduces a number of new features. A series of new quests will reward limited-edition NFT collectibles – powered by the Immutable Passport. A new mission sees players infiltrate Air Force Base 42, with thrilling day and night gameplay, new crafting options and more.
Cliffside also marks the start of Season 1 Act II, with an as-yet-unspecified prize pool in $FURY tokens.
How do I join the Engines of Fury Cliffside playtest?
An application form has now opened, allowing budding players to apply for access to the Engines of Fury Cliffside playtest in January 2025.
To guarantee access to the playtest, players can try their luck at winning an official giveaway from the Engines of Fury team, as they will be giving away a number of access codes over the next few weeks.
The exact launch date for the Cliffside playtest has yet to be revealed, though we do know that the playtest will be held on the Epic Games Store – the same platform on which Engines of Fury is expected to hold their full launch midway through 2025.
